First-year receiver Davante Adams grabbed much of the spotlight after Sunday's game with his seven catches for 117 yards and a spectacular run-and-catch for a touchdown. But fellow rookie Richard Rodgers also is becoming a larger part of the Packers' offense.

Green Bay Packers tight end Richard Rodgers catches the go-ahead touchdown pass from quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the fourth quarter of Sunday's NFC divisional playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field.

Rodgers' go-ahead 13-yard touchdown catch was the only time he was thrown the ball Sunday against Dallas, but the 6-4, 257-pound tight end has been emerging recently as key target.

"He's got incredible hands; I dare say the best hands on the team," Aaron Rodgers said. "He went through a stretch in training camp where he didn't drop a pass. Yeah, he's an exceptional player with great potential for us."

Against Detroit in the regular-season finale, Rodgers had five catches for 40 yards to finish the regular season with 20 catches for 225 yards and two touchdowns.

"Obviously, he hasn't gotten a lot of opportunities, but he knows football and I think he's got himself in really good shape," Aaron Rodgers said. "Throughout the year, it seems to be he's leaning out actually and becoming maybe a tad lighter. I don't know if that's on purpose or if that's just the grind of the season.

"It looks to be him putting himself in position to be maybe more of a pass-catching threat, and he's made some big catches for us over the year."
