GREEN BAY - The Packers on Friday claimed guard Ethan Cooper off waivers from the New York Giants and released tackle Kyle Meadows.

The 6-2, 322-pound Cooper was originally signed by Pittsburgh as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Indiana University (Pa.), spending the 2017 offseason with the Steelers before being released in September. He then signed to the Giants practice squad for the rest of the 2017 season. He was waived on Thursday.

Meadows signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 4.
